**IMPORTANT CROSSOVER NEWS!**
Our current lease expires on 9th February 2016, therefore Crossover will be relocating to a new site in Station Road, Liss, just past St. Mary’s Church. This was the St Mary’s Church Hall which is now being redeveloped as Crossover. Our aim is to be in our new home and ready for opening at the end of January. We aim to avoid any session cancellations or closure.
Building work is set to take place very soon so that we can adapt the building to make it more suitable and make the most of the space. To make the move go smoothly and quickly, we welcome any offers of help in the way of transporting items from place to place (maybe you have a van and can move some larger items?) and in the way of helping to clean the new centre. We also, as always, welcome financial donations, as we would like to purchase some new bits of furniture.
Please speak to Georgie or anyone at Crossover if you are able to offer any help. To keep up to date with the move, please follow our Facebook page and website page ‘The Move’ where we will post updates as we get them.
The new Crossover is only 4 minutes further to walk up Station Road (yes, I have timed it!). It is warmer inside and we shall be saving on rent as our current premises costs us thousands per year and is expensive to heat. These are important factors in our move as due to our status as a charity and with the funding from Hampshire County Council set to be reduced, if not removed, in the near future, every penny is crucial to secure the future of Crossover.
Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to hearing from those of you who are able to help us with the move. We are excited for our future in continuing to support local young people in our new centre.
When the centre is fully operational in the new premises there will be a formal reopening ceremony.
