April/May Update!

This Month at Crossover has been busy! As we have had to say Goodbye to our long term administrator; we have fortunately found someone to replace her.  We have had new volunteers to help with the Young People; but we can certainly use more!! As you know, Crossover helps young people with cooking skills and learning about healthy eating. One of our amazing 17 year old participants cooked Macaroni and Cheese for dinner! We have done Arts and Crafts projects for Easter, jammed out to musical instruments such as the piano, and drums. Our Young People are excelling and we are so fortunate to be on their journey with them!

Half-Term Fun

This month our great Youth Workers put together two trips.  The first trip was to Roller Disco in Bordon, and the other to Lab 99 in Petersfield to work on their boxing and exercise skills. The Young People have had a very active month!

We would also like to acknowledge the Geoff Herrington Foundation for funding these trips; without them our outings would not be possible! The Foundation hopes to help young people under the age of 25 years by:

  • Advancing their knowledge and education to improve employment opportunities
  • Developing their skills to enable them to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals
  • Provide recreational and leisure time activities to broaden their horizons and improve the conditions of life for young people.
